Picnic on a Peak is one of our most popular excursions for those seeking a romantic setting. Queenstown has some of the most breathtaking scenery in New Zealand and what better way to enjoy the remarkable views of Lake Wakatipu and the Southern Alps than enjoying a champagne picnic perched high up on one of the peaks.
Over The Top will fly you from its heli-base to a mountain top location, which overlooks Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu. Here you will be left to enjoy your champagne picnic hamper of meats, cheeses, salads and fruit for as long as you desire (vegetarian and other dietary options available). Your helicopter will return to collect you and fly you down the lake, giving you a bird’s-eye view of Queenstown, before heading back to the Over The Top base. It is a stunning combination of the tranquillity of the remote mountain location, together with the excitement of a helicopter flight over beautiful surroundings.
