ItÛªs a relaxed and flexible way to enjoy one of the coolest resort towns in the world at your own pace with none of the hassles ÛÒ perfect if you donÛªt want to bother with a rental car (especially if youÛªre not used to driving on the left side of the road!)
This morning IÛªll pick you up at your hotel in my Land Rover Discovery or Mercedes Ambiente and weÛªll drive down the lake to BennettÛªs Bluff lookout for a pretty stunning photo stop.
We can stop for a short scenic lake walk along the way or carry on to Arrowtown, a charming town with a rich gold mining history including an old Chinese settlement. We can then enjoy a picnic lunch by the river or local cuisine at one of the nearby restaurants.
This afternoon weÛªll visit the home of bungy jumping ÛÓ and jump, if you dare! Then letÛªs go and find your favourite NZ wine at a few wineries in Gibbston Valley. We can also stop at Shotover River to watch the famous jet boats, experience it for yourself or take a short walk for amazing views before returning to Queenstown.
During the winter months we can also experience the snow on this outing.
