About Us
Bourke Contractors is a family business, owned and operated since 1980. We have a wide range of modern, civil contracting machinery. This includes, excavators, compacting equipments, rollers, tractor, trucks and asphalt paving machine.
Our main type of work is site works for commercial properties, construction of asphalt tennis and basketball courts.
We have about eight staff which includes four from the family.
As we have our own paving machine for asphalting, we have subcontracted to Isaac Construction and City Care when they have an overflow of work or require a smaller machine.
We work with our clients from start to finish first with:

* We offer the whole package of civil site works which are done by our own company. This means all the work is completed start to finish by us, with minimal work subcontracted out to others.
* Having the resources to do all the works ourselves gives us the commitment to the client that all works can be started and finished on time. As we do not need to rely on subcontractors to fit into our contracts.
* We have found over the years that construction programmes are very tight and completion dates must be achieved.
