IMPORTANT NOTES RE CURRENT POST EARTHQUAKE OPERATIONS
After the November M7.8 earthquake in Kaikoura in November 2016, we are successfully operating dolphin encounter and albatross encounter tours.
Our customer service and retail store is open from 7.30am–5.00pm daily and phones will be manned to take your bookings and answer your questions during this time.
Our on site Cafe is open between 7.30am-4.00pm daily.
TOURS:
Both Dolphin Encounter and Albatross Encounter Tours are scheduled daily. We will continue to work within the limitations of the harbour repair works. Tour operation remains subject to numbers and weather conditions.
TRAVELLING TO KAIKOURA:
Current access to Kaikoura is by air and road. We encourage you to check with NZTA and plan your journey before you book your tour, due to varying restrictions that will affect journey times whilst remedial works are under way.
InterCity are now providing a daily bus service between Christchurch and Kaikoura. For further information on transport links go to: www.visitkaikoura.nz
